Quality control, or QC, is one of the bigger
concerns that many companies have when they choose outside
contractors for their web designing projects. These concerns
are justified; many web developers and designers out there
do not pay attention to the dynamics of search engine operations
or the finer nuances of marketing. Many of the sites are designed
around stock templates and end up looking similar to other
websites in the same space. The sites do not gel with the
image that an organization may be trying to project. Some
of the web developers cut corners and if caught, their dishonesty
could get your website blacklisted. You end up paying high
prices for a site that probably does your business no good.

| Testing
All Parameters
That is why, at Live Pages we ensure that the website you
requested undergoes thorough quality control checks before
we hand it over to you. During the process of quality control,
we go over the website and test it on all parameters - design,
content management, style, graphics - just about everything.
We look at the links, take care of loading speeds, look for
suspicious tags. We make sure the site has been optimized
enough for the Google bots. We do all we can to ensure that
what we hand over to our clients is the finished product,
not a tacky collection of webpages.
Strict Norms
The QC process we follow has some stringent norms. We test
the site to see if it can provide maximum service under the
most stress. We ensure that the website is ready for the real
situation once it goes live, and the functional aspect of
it is not lost in the quest for better aesthetics (we do not
sacrifice aesthetics to functionality, though). So the process
includes checking the relevance of graphics and Flash, the
compatibility with Internet Explorer and Mozilla (and other
browsers our clients may specify), and even looking for mismatch
in the dimensions of different graphics. We also check the
codes to see if everything has been done right.
Taking Care Of Your Business
Needs
Then we take a look at the bigger picture. We want the pages
to reflect your vision, to announce your business ideas, and
to be in sync with your image. You will not find us making
the mistake of using excessive amounts of Flash and funky
animation for an online knitting store aimed at elderly ladies
(Flash is an excellent addition to a website aimed at the
young visitors, though too much of it can be a bother for
search engine optimization experts as well as the search engines
themselves).
We pride ourselves on being able to provide a fully functional
website to our clients. And we are constantly in touch with
them to plug any loopholes should there be problems later
– mostly the sites run smoothly. Our maintenance services
are a further sign of how far we can go to ensure the success
of our clients' business. If you have a project you want us
to work on, or want us to QC your existing website, do contact
us for a free quote. We are always keen to help. |
